This one was special. We got to be part of building out a wedding venue in Mossy Creek from the ground up - and that kind of job means a lot more than just running wire. It means thinking through every detail so the space works the way it needs to when it matters most.

The scope here covered a lot of ground. Dedicated outlets, emergency lighting, low-voltage systems, and custom lighting throughout the building. Each piece has a job to do. The emergency lighting keeps guests safe if something goes wrong. The low-voltage and custom lighting sets the tone for the whole event. Getting all of that to work together cleanly takes real planning before a single fixture ever goes up.

The outdoor stair lighting is a good example of that kind of thinking. Those low-profile black step lights mounted into the concrete retaining wall aren't just decorative - they guide guests safely up a long staircase at night without killing the ambiance. That's the balance you have to strike in a venue like this. Safety and aesthetics have to coexist.

Inside, the work was just as detailed. Running circuits, positioning emergency exit lighting in the right spots, hanging chandeliers - all of it had to be done carefully in a space with high ceilings, ornate trim, and finished surfaces that couldn't be damaged. That's where experience with both indoor lighting installation and commercial-grade electrical work really shows.

We're genuinely grateful for the opportunity to work on something like this. A wedding venue is a place where people will mark some of the biggest moments of their lives. Knowing the electrical work underneath all of it was done right - that means something to us.
