Highly recommend NGES! Philip and Tyler did a tremendous job replacing our old lofted ceiling lights with new LEDs. They were on time and finished the job faster than expected. There were no hidden fees and Philip was communicative from quote to install. We will be using NGES for any electrical need we have going forward!
The guy came in and checked out my fixture. Once finding the problem the hunt for a replacement began. My current fixture was discontinued and the size wasn’t common. Tyler was my technician. He started calling around and looking for a close match. He found a similar design and returned for installation. I also attempted to install a ceiling fan and it had no power. Tyler rewired it and finished putting it together. NGE has now saved the day on 3 occasions for me. Thank you! Keith

I highly highly recommend north Georgia electric services! They have gone above and beyond to make sure our outlets and panels are safe and working properly! They installed all new smoke detectors as well and now we feel completely safe in our home! Guys were always on top and super easy to work with and schedule with. We will be using them from now on!

I agree with the other five-star reviews posted. We hired NGES to remove our old doorbell system and install a Blink doorbell system, hardwired to the mechanical doorbell as well. Alex, the manager, was courteous, professional, and helpful. The work was done in about 30 minutes and he guarantees his work should something go wrong with it later. We would work with Alex and NGES again should the need arise. Thanks!
I was in need of several general electrical repairs at my residence and wanted to support a local business. My first contact with the owner, Philip, was great. He was able to schedule an appointment convenient to me and in a timely manner. Philip sent Reed to my residence. Reed was prompt in arriving at my residence at the appointment time and texted prior to arrival to let me know he was enroute. Reed was able to quickly assess my needs and provide me with a quote for the electrical work needed. Reed was very professional and informative. He did a great job and ensured I was satisfied with his work. He even followed-up the next day to confirm the outdoor lighting he installed had worked properly. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with North Georgia Electrical Services and highly recommend them.
I’d like to give a shout out to Phillip for being so helpful with troubleshooting an electrical issue I had today. After hearing my issue he immediately said he’d like to help save me a possible service call. He did some basic troubleshooting by text with me and resolved my problem without needing to make that onsite call. He saved me easily $200-$300+. I’m so thankful for his kindness. Most others would have insisted on a service call. I’ll have a company to call on should the need arise now!
First and foremost, I would give 10 stars if I could. My wife and I have a large family and about a year ago decided we'd add an additional water heater and a second washer / dryer set to our home. With this, came all new electrical and eventually, electrical problems. It's been about a year since we had a company (NOT North Georgia Electrical Services) install two water heaters and all of the electrical for them and a washer/dryer. Since then, the water heater(s) breaker(s) will randomly throw and we will be left with cold water for 7 of us to shower with. After replacing the breaker once, and being told there is nothing wrong with the water heaters, I decided to call North Georgia Electrical Services for a second opinion on the electrical installations. This was by far the best decision that I have made since deciding to have this stuff installed in the first place. Reed, the company's Project Manager and Electrical Technician, was hands down the most professional, knowledgeable and communicative tradesman that I've had service our home since we purchased it some years ago. He was prompt in returning my initial call, calmed my nerves about what to expect during his visit, and even called an hour prior to arriving to ensure me that he was in fact coming and to provide an ETA. Reed showed up a few minutes early (which I can't complain about!). He listened to my entire story about what led to us calling his company, and immediately began working through the issues. Once he was complete with his investigation of the electrical installations, Reed provided my wife and I with a very understandable set of findings, improvement suggestions and even provided us with some cost-effective solutions to making our home electrical more safe than it is today (best practices are updated annually and he was able to explain exactly what we have and what is industry standard today). To make a long review longer, we will 100% call Reed and North Georgia Electrical Services for ALL of our future electrical needs and will recommend them to all of our friends and family! Reed, thank you for efforts today. Because of you and your attention to our needs, we were able to convince the original installers that it was in fact a faulty water heater and they are replacing it at no cost next week. If you need an electrician, this is who you want to call. Phillip was responsive and reliable. I called a few different people and none were as responsive as he was. He was very professional and very knowledgeable. I'm so glad I found a small business to support and would happily recommend him to anyone.
We cannot say enough good things about North Georgia Electrical Services. From our first communication to the follow up after the job was done Philip was nothing but professional, helpful, kind and competent. We decided to finally pull the trigger and get a generator and NGE installed it seamlessly. I made a couple changes pretty last minute with placement and they were extremely helpful with the change, they didn’t skip a beat. I will recommend to all our friends and will use them again in a heartbeat!

Reed was absolutely wonderful!!! I have light in my kitchen and am ecstatic with his getting it working. I had been without a working kitchen light for months, I can't thank you enough for your assistance in this getting up and working. My kitchen is now bright, now I have to go clean it.

Reliable, Fast & Professional! I spoke with Amber (office) who was very friendly to set up an appointment. Tyler came out the next day to give me a quote & he sent me quote the same day with a fair price & he showed me pictures of the work he had previously done; plus, talked me through the process of my work requested. Tyler & Antonio were great, on time & very friendly. They cleaned up after each electrical installation & didn’t leave a mess behind. They provided installation for 2 garage lights, installed a new pantry light, replaced porch light, replaced old fluorescent lights (primary closet) & installed a new outlet in the primary bathroom. being stuck with out power is excruciating in this heat, I had a tree fall on my power lines, in order to have the power restored I had to have the tree removed myself, and then have the power supply inspected, I chose North Georgia electrical services,personally knowing Phillip the owner. I reached out to him. he had somebody at my house within the hour, did the inspection. was able to get a hold of Hall County Building permits and inspection on three way normally this doesn't happen as quickly as Philip made it happen my power was then restored immediately. without the help of Philip Mesina,I would still be without power sitting in a 90° house I'm so pleased with North Georgia Electrical Services, I wish more people in business had as much integrity, thank you again Phillip

Very responsive and quick scheduling. Fair pricing. Reed was very nice and polite. He did a great job of installing wiring for our outdoor floodlight camera. He made sure the camera was set up and that I was happy with the angle before heading out. Overall, I'd recommend for any electrical services. Will be using them in the future
It's not everyday you come across a company with as much care for the local cities they serve, nor the willingness to offer assistance in a moments notice as Philip did for our family this week. After a neighborhood power outing, we continued to have a breaker shut off running electricity to our main floor. Needing help as we are in the process of selling our home and notifying Philip of our immediate need, he helped by making suggestions through text message. Informing him that we had appointments for potential buyers coming in the next couple of hours, it was his way of helping in the moment. Following his suggestions, my husband located the bad electrical outlet and was able to replace before our next appointment. Other companies we contacted during the day responded with, "we have no availability today" which Philip could have done as well. However, he chose not to. We are so grateful for people like this still serving our community even if it doesn't yield immediate financial gain. Thank you Philip! Wow! Just wow!! 10 ⭐️ Not just 5!! If you’re looking for an electrician that is professional, responsive and that offer such good quality of work - look no further!!! Phillip and his team are your guys!!! Phillip came out the same evening I called him to give us a quote on installing power to our shop! He stayed and explained the entire process and safety of usage for certain power outlets and other things. He had availability the next day so of course we said yes!!! Once the job was done, everything was cleaned up - (he even wiped down the cables) and put back into its place. He showed that all of the items installed work and even went out of his way to label them all!!!! Due to the recent storms I ended up needing a full electrical panel replacement! NGES came out quickly and efficiently diagnosed the problem and setup time for work. They were completely professional and performed incredible work at a price that beat the other quotes I gathered. 100% will use them again.
I came across NGES after many failed attempts of looking for a reliable company. From the moment I called through the time they completed the work they were phenomenal. I called Monday and they quickly got back to me and booked me for today and finished the work in such a timely manner. Everything from communication and efficiency was covered. Stop looking! You've found the right electrician! I never write reviews, but Alex and his team felt like working with close friends so we had to give them a shout out. It's hard to find professionals that are real with you. They were direct, honest, reasonably priced and very skilled. We had some pretty odd electrical requests and they nailed all of them. We've had Alex and his team back to our house a second time because they did such great work. And we'll call them again when our next electrical needs arise. Hired them to install breaker, connections and outlets for a new car charger and they did an awesome job. We had some major work to do at our new house and had five different electricians come out to give quotes. We were so impressed with Alex and the team at North Georgia Electrical Services, it was a no brainer to work with them! They did two days worth of electrical work: adding canned lights, removing old electrical wiring, reworking circuits, etc. They were on time, so friendly, explained things and helped us figure out the best options for our electrical work. Choosing them was a great decision. Their pricing was reasonable and there’s zero question we’ll turn to them again when we need anything electrical done!

He was professional and knowledgeable and explained everything to me in layman terms. He was able to get Tyler to come complete the job on a Saturday (the very next day) so that the problem could be resolved quickly. They completed the project within hours and gave me a good price. Highly recommend them! This is the second time we’ve had them come do some electrical work and we have been really happy with their work. Reed came out to give a quote, he was very knowledgeable and honest, and he got us scheduled really quickly. Philip and Tyler installed new grounding rods and converted our stove outlet. I honestly can’t recall another time where I interacted with a company that had a more consultative, professional, and caring approach than NGES. I’ll spare the details, but Phillip was able to get us on the schedule really quickly and have an electrician out. From there, both the tech (Reed) and Phillip were very consultative in the solution, going so far as to recommend us calling the power company because, come to find out, our home was not properly grounded and that was a HUGE risk to my family. Phillip sat with my wife until he felt comfortable with the power company dispatching out a truck and taking care of it. I can’t say enough good things. I’d recommend them to your friends, your family, your enemies, your barber, your favorite barista at your local Starbucks… everyone. Truly fantastic company!

I recently had a last-minute need for electrical wiring for a new AC unit that was being installed. North GA Electrical Services was able to schedule an appointment for the very next day. Reed came out and was very thorough looking at the requirements of a pretty complex job, gave an estimate, and was able to come back with Tyler the next day to complete the job so we could have AC for the weekend. Let me add that they were very mindful of the aesthetics of wiring through an interior wood-paneled wall and on the exterior of the house. Great people, great job! Thank you, NGES!
