When a business adds new machinery, the electrical system has to keep up. That means running a dedicated circuit with enough capacity to handle the load - without borrowing power from everything else on the panel. That's exactly what we tackled here in Duluth, Georgia.

We installed a new dedicated 480V circuit to feed a piece of new equipment for this commercial client. A 480V setup is standard for heavier industrial and commercial machines - motors, compressors, commercial kitchen equipment, and more. These loads need their own circuit so they don't trip breakers, cause voltage drops, or create headaches for the rest of the building's electrical system.

Here's what we were working with - a commercial breaker panel fully loaded with circuits running throughout the facility, plus a secondary Eaton disconnect unit mounted right alongside it. Getting a new 480V circuit tied in cleanly means understanding exactly what's already in that panel, where capacity exists, and how to route the new run safely and up to code. It's not a plug-and-play situation.

From the panel connections all the way to the equipment hookup, we handled the full scope. That's how we operate - we don't hand off pieces of a job. When a business needs new power infrastructure to support growth, we want to be the crew they call from start to finish.

North Georgia Electrical Services works with commercial clients across Duluth and the surrounding area on exactly this kind of work - panel upgrades, breaker panel replacements, new circuit installations, and equipment connections. If your facility is adding new machinery or your current panel is running out of room, we're the team to call.
