This was a venue project with a clear goal - get reliable power from the main building out to the staircase so guests aren't navigating in the dark. Sounds simple enough, but the right way to do it means going underground. That's where trenching comes in.
We dug a clean trench to run conduit under the surface, crossing the sidewalk without tearing it up. Boring under hardscape like that keeps everything intact and avoids a mess that nobody wants to deal with. Once the conduit was in place and the line was pulled, we backfilled and cleaned up so you'd never know we were there.
The end result is a staircase that's fully powered and ready for guests at any hour. Lighting fixtures sit at the base of the entry columns, and the whole setup gives the space a polished, safe feel after the sun goes down. That matters a lot for any property hosting evening events.
A lot of outdoor electrical jobs get slapped together with surface-level wiring that creates tripping hazards or fails to hold up over time. Doing it underground, done properly, means it's reliable and out of the way. That's the only way we approach this kind of work.
Whether it's a venue, a private residence, or a commercial property - if you've got an outdoor space that needs power run to it, underground trenching and boring is usually the cleanest solution. It protects the wire, preserves your hardscape, and gives you something built to last.
